These terms apply to the Tardis World History website and ChatGPT plugin maintained by the Tardis project. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. Contact cp-tech-rabbit@pm.me with questions.

Educational purpose

Tardis helps you explore and compare historical periods and events. Entries are curated and may be incomplete or contain errors. Dates, names, interpretations, and borders can differ between sources. Check original sources for research or decisions that require authoritative information.

The embedded map’s modern country borders provide geographic context; they are not claims about historical sovereignty or territorial boundaries.

Permitted use

You may use the service to learn, explore history, and share links. Do not interfere with its operation, bypass access restrictions, overload the service, introduce malicious content, or use it unlawfully. The plugin’s tools retrieve information; they do not create, edit, or delete historical records.

Content and third-party materials

Historical text, maps, linked sources, software, and other materials may have different owners and licenses. Using Tardis does not transfer ownership or grant rights beyond the applicable licenses. Respect source attributions and license terms when reusing material.

Third-party websites and services, including ChatGPT and linked historical sources, have their own terms. We do not control those services or guarantee the accuracy or availability of their content.

Availability and changes

We may update the service, correct entries, change features, or suspend access to address maintenance, security, or abuse. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every historical question will have an entry.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how the website, plugin, and support channels handle information. Do not include unnecessary personal information when contacting us or using the plugin.

Limitations

The service is provided as available for educational use, without a promise that its historical content is complete, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights or protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
